Jonathan Lane and Associates (Organ Builders) was established in 2006, having undertaken miscellaneous projects over the preceding years. The business is run by Jonathan Lane, a professional musician, organist, choir trainer, teacher and composer.
Jonathan set up the business out of a desire to produce small mechanical action organs of the highest standards of workmanship and tonal finishing, as well as restore and rebuild existing organs of all types. He is enthusiastic about the future of organ building in this country and worldwide, believing there is a strong future for pipe organs of high quality, even in this age of the ‘electronic substitute’.

Jonathan is assisted in many ways by his wife Fran, who is a great support, particularly in administrative matters.
